Meeting with Kurdistan Investors Union

President of AmCham Kurdistan Dori Abouzeid had a productive meeting with Kurdistan Investors Union Vice President Kamal Agha and members of the Investors Union on Thursday, March 18.

The American Chamber of Commerce president expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the Kurdistan Investors Union delegation at the meeting. The both sides discussed means of cooperation regarding trade and investment between US companies and the Kurdistan Region of Iraq.

The delegation briefed AmCham Kurdistan President Dori Abouzeid on the Kurdistan Region's latest economic and investment developments. They discussed ways of cooperation regarding trade and investment. Kamal Agha highlighted the level of trade between companies in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq and the United States.

The meeting also focused on the importance of the banking system and investment in the Kurdistan Region.

Both sides reiterated the importance of cooperation and coordination in various business fields and further strengthening and promotion of economic relations between US companies and companies in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq.
